Can't believe he was at Kenilworth ... we went there, almost put my grandmother in there when it seemed like she could have come out of hospital. I completely forgot he lived in our woods.
God, what I wouldn't give to be locked in a room with all that footage. See, it's not like he'll ever go away. He never did. I remember when I first arrived, it must have coincided with some anniversary - was it fifty years of television? - and there were all these specials almost every week or so on Channel Nine. That's how I knew and adored Graham Kennedy.
Didn't believe it when I heard it on the radio the other day. Too ridiculous. Been a long time coming but still ... nonsense. Still don't fully believe it. Can't even be sad he's gone. Cos he's not. And he still makes me laugh so hard and shriek with such delight and outrage. Can't be sad.
He's Aquarian. Did y'notice? Fifteenth of February. Australia's King of Television. Aquarian.
