I had my first snow day since elementary school last Friday. Thursday afternoon the Cincinnatians were whispering about the "white death." And I was like, "Mayonaise is going to kill us all?" before I realized they were speaking of snow.
A coworker of mine woke me around 8A with a call to tell me Friday training had been cancelled. I promptly went back to sleep with dreams of playing WoW all day. When I woke around noon I decided to venture out for some lunch. I figured that maybe some of the restaurants had been shoveled out by now and I might be able to find some grub.
I can't believe the whole city shut down for two inches of snow that had half melted by noon. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich from Wendy's wasn't so hot either.
In other news, I'll be going back to Milwaukee via Greyhound and will be arriving at 11P on Dec. 23 and staying through 11:30A on Jan. 1
