There's something gross in the fridge today...
The DSi is finally ordered, now that I've been able to get Paypal straightened out. YES! And even better, my Pokémon Pearl is going to be in English. Maybe I should figure out where I can acquire a wireless router so I can join in the online trading.
Though I am a bit miffed that PlayAsia tells me "free shipping within Japan" and then forcing me to pay for exorbitant US shipping prices. What. Lies and propaganda.
I have successful defeated the Moldy Sentient Strawberries of Terror (Elite), with the aid of my new Mold Gloves. They are like doctor's gloves, only much thicker, because Japanese people have a terrible dirt phobia. The strawberries didn't drop anything. In any case, my fridge is now cleaner! I also am now immune to fear from Bread Mold. I think. Living alone is hard when you want to have variety but not enough mouths eating all the excess. Thankfully, I only got 2 Daikon radishes from Yoseda-san/kyouikuchou on Sunday, one which I've pickled and have been eating quite merrily. I still have to figure out what to do with the green beans though - maybe make fake gaijin edamame?
Stage Two of my Evil Plan involves figuring out how to hang up my laundry to dry when it's rainy and windy outside. Besides that, I still need to, you know, clean my entire house and then come up with some recipe that I can cook somewhat successfully and hopefully have one or more of my bosses over. But! It is definitely progress.
Still haven't really been able to progress on Gossip Girl, though I was able to watch about half an episode before it crapped out on me this time. Damn illegal Chinese websites.
