Monte is great fall music- it takes me back to happy freshman days at TLU and San Antonio- it reminds me of driving to San Antonio from Seguin to see Matt's band play at Jazzy Bean. My first real love- I talk about what music does to me so much on here it seems but I can remember everything from that fall just by listening to Monte. I remember the smell of fall- I remember how cold it was in my little white Toyota- I remember my dorm and Elisa and I taking naps on Friday's after Death and Dying class- I remember Halloween that year- studying on the couches at Jazzy Bean on Sunday nights before heading back to TLU- I remember listening to his band play for hours I knew all their songs- I saw Monte 3 or 4 times after that year when I was no longer with Matt, I saw him twice with Ben actually and then got Haley and Jenn into him- but it still never reminds me of Ben, only Matt and that fall and how cold it was everywhere
