-Christmas happened. Jessie came to visit and that was nice. There was some mother drama, but that's unavoidable (especially around the holidays). Otherwise it was an alright holiday. I now have an alarm clock that wakes me up with Stephen Fry's voice every morning, so that's marvelous.

Ran into Joe for the first time since the break up.
I mean, we've talked over skype now and then but this was the first time I saw him in person.

And it was perfectly normal, really. Talked about all of the end of semester work we have to get done. I was still shaken though.

Man, I definitely got sick from all the subways in New York...but aside from that, here's what happened over break!

-Visited my Dad, with Gilly.
-Chilled out on Staten Island on Thursday, mainly watching QI and making food (I made a total of 3 batches of scones over the course of the break)

So Joe's all like "kind of feel like giving up" because I still don't like having sex because it just hasn't been fun for me and then he's like, "I have no interest in ending our relationship, sorry for saying anything" (this is on skype, by the by)

So, on top of having an entire bathroom to myself, I/we just got an email from Rachel's mom telling us that we don't have to pay for water (which we knew already) or heat (which we didn't). And I am so super psyched.
Plus Rachel's sister is going to move in as well which puts rent below $400. Ohmygosh.
