Chicago is awesome! The people were so nice and the city is beautiful. I didn't get to spend nearly enough time there. It's one of the cities on my list of places I would like to runaway to if I ever just get sick of Virginia. Or life in general :p

Socks is very innocuous sounding but that she is anything but is somehow fitting. It adds character ;)
My older cat, Nala, also sounds like a banshee. Her meow is worn out from age so it comes out sounding like a high pitched squeak or scream. Fortunately she is only vocal when she wants something. I can't imagine if she did it at all hours of the day. You have my sympathies. I think tempermentalness definitely increases with age. I guess they've earned the right to be moody once they reach ancient lol.
Chicago was amazing. Not nearly as overwhelming as I thought it would be for a big city. If you ever get the chance you should check it out.
