So, my procrastination led to me seek-out Kirk/Spock slash because, well, when you read academic pieces on slash everyone brings up that slash started in the late 60s with Kirk and Spock having inter-species buttsecks. And I just read the funniest freaking ficlet called

Remember this was the fandom that gave us Mary Sue. I would wager that all fandom cliche started here. Look and see how far back you can go and find four posters, simultaneous orgasism[ though as a ref I have to say there is no simultaneous ;-)], even cross gen. Makes me wish there had been an interwebs back in the day to archive the bad sex.
