Yes, I must say, I am quite possibly the world's worst livejournaler
EVER. I don't mean to be, really, I just forget that I even
have a livejournal sometimes. Anyhow, let's see what's gone on in
my life since what...APRIL? First of all, I got a kitty
cat. I adopted him from PETsMART and he's the most beautiful,
sweet, annoying kitty ever. His name is Winston and he's a
Balinese/Siamese/Himalayan-something. He's colored like a
seal-point Siamese, but he's very fluffy, and he has the most beautiful
blue eyes. HOWEVER, he talks. All the time. Like a damn Siamese. At six
o'clock in the morning. Every morning.
I'm not really supposed to have him here at school, but I love him so
much that I am risking getting in trouble to have him live with
me. He's so funny...Chase hates it, but in the mornings, he comes
up and purrs on Chase's face. I think it's sweet.
Umm...Chase is now a Pi Kappa Phi pledge, president of his pledge
class, thankyouverymuch. I love those boys very much. I
love my boy very much. Even when he's being a dickhead, I still
love him. Even though I say that I want to stab him in the
face. We've been fighting lately, and it's so odd. We never
used to fight, but I think we've just come to a point in our
relationship where we both take everything for granted, and it's
bad. We had the most intense fight to date the other night, and I
was so angry. So angry.
Rush was alright. We got...twenty-eight new girls? I'm not
sure. I feel like this year's rush was slim pickings, but for the
most part we got the best of what was offered. That's not saying
that we didn't get some amazing girls, because we definitely did, and I
know that they're going to do a lot for our chapter, but I also think
that they're going to have to overcome a lot of challenges posed by
their pledge sisters. Oi. The drama; sometimes I really hate
being a girl.
So I've now been working at American Eagle for...six months. I
love it, but I do wish I got paid more; that would be great. I,
however, have done a little babysitting for some professors here, which
will be an excellent additional source of income...but I really have
been working a LOT. I'm only taking fifteen hours of class right
now, but I generally work between twenty and thirty hours per week, and
I am just crapped out all the time. AND...we had a very biased
social chair for a while, so we weren't getting invited/accepting
invitations for mixers with any of the fraternities on campus, so there
haven't even been parties to get lost in. However, there's always
some kind of get-together with the Pi Kapps, which is always fun, aside
from some of the yucky sorority girls there that I don't like. Oh
well.
It's almost Thanksgiving, which means that it's almost my
birthday. On Wednesday I will be twenty...it's such a nothing
birthday, aside from not being a teenager anymore. It's not like
I can do anything exciting because I'm twenty. BUT I AM GOING TO
FRANCE!!!
Yessirreebob, I'm going to be in Angers, France, for four months,
beginning February second. I'm very excited, but still a little
apprehensive. It's such a long time to be gone, and I'll be gone
for Chase's birthday, our three-year anniversary, Easter... It
would be so amazing if Chase could come visit me maybe during spring
break or something, but I just don't see that happening. He's
never been out of the country, and it is quite expensive. Oh
well, I suppose it's not really that long...and Uncle Clarence is going
to pay me to stay at his apartment on the left bank in PARIS. I'm
so excited, but it's a little scary because there is not one person
that I know going.
Okay, now that I've given the update of the century, I'm going to take a nap, work out, then go to work. Yessssss!
Until next time,
Tash
