Rinse and repeat
Went to an almsgiving type event today - first time I'd gone to one since leaving for Africa last year. Had the same conversation with at least 15 different people, and was alarmed to find I'd forgotten a fair few faces/relationship circles and had to hazard guesses as to precisely whose health I was asking after. Leg went numb from sitting on the floor for so long, and thankfully a few people didn't recognise me because of the hair cut :) hopefully thats it for another 3 months. Bit scary how much random strangers know about your personal life - and whilst I do appreciate the irony of saying this on livejournal, this ain't nothin like the Sri Lankan grapevine!
