Google is AMAZING

BASICS:

Hello new people. We have a LOT of the same questions popping up because people have yet to hear about this amazing search enginge called "the internet." Sometimes, oftentimes, mostly referred to as "GOOGLE," "Bing," "Yahoo," and a slew of other nifty titles. Search these places first. Particularly about the GRE

"Applyingtograd" is a lj advice group. Here's what we are and are not to be used for:

-Asking how long GRE scores are valid is not asking for advice/opinion. That is asking for a fact. This should be googled.

-Asking why your application was possibly rejected despite your 4.0, globs of research experience, and your combined GRE score of 400 (or 1600) , is asking for advice/opinion. This is an appropriate topic to ask here.

Before posting here, there are 3 simple steps:
1: Google
2: See if this topic has been covered at least once in the past week on this forum
3: Then ask us.

We all would really love it.

P.S. - this is half humorous, half exasperation. Delete if you will. :)

advice, gre
