Good News and Bad News
Good News: I got into George Washington!! I just found out today and I'll find out by the end of next week if I'll be getting any fellowship assistance. Let's hope so, cuz GWU ain't cheap!
Bad News: On a whim, I looked at my submitted Georgetown application. I clicked on the link to view the letter of intent I submitted and what pops up? My resume. Thinking it was possibly a fluke, I log out and in again and do the same thing. It's still my resume. So I go through all of the files I submitted to see if I accidentally submitted it under a different file name. Nope!
So, unless Georgetown is feeling generous and accepts me conditionally on my letter of intent (yeah, right!), Georgetown's out.
I feel really stupid, but at the same time, I can't get myself to care that much, because I got into GWU!
What bonehead application anecdotes do you have?
