I applied to an MSW program and just received notice that I need to go for an admission interview.  In the college's admission requirements they state that interviews are done on a selected basis.  I wasn't able to read my letters of recommendation but I was told by the writers that they were "writing strong recommendations". Probably not. Applications are super high right now, they wouldn't bother interviewing someone they weren't interested in.
