Missing deadlines

What if you miss the deadline by a few days?
There are a few schools which were due Friday that I decided not to apply.
Then realized I might as well have given it a shot. Anyway, these are MA programs and not especially competitive... Do you think they will still review my stuff if I send it Monday? Does anyone have experience with this kind of

deadlines

1. Didn't you just ask this (or an extremely similar) question in a deleted post a few days ago? Were some of the answers from that post applicable to this one?

2. To second hellenphile's point, I don't think that we can possibly know, since this will likely vary depending on the program and person that you're dealing with. You'll have to simply call (and trust that they--like most of us--aren't inherently evil and trying to screw you over)...or else take that risk.

Honestly, aside from the logistical issue that you're asking about, I *don't* think you should apply--even to "not especially competitive" MA programs--if you had passed up on them before...unless, of course, you discover that they're a fabulous fit for your research interests. FUNDED MA's are still competitive...like Ph.D programs, chances are, you won't in unless you are well-suited for the program's strength. Unfunded MA's...well, I'm not sure that you should pay tuition for a program unless it can very useful to you...which again, requires fit. So consider the programs carefully: think about how studying there for a year or two can further your scholarship. If you're simply applying because those programs are uncompetitive...I don't think it's worth your effort and money at this point.

Not sure about any deleted posst, but someone else asked a similar question a few days ago.
