writing sample
I couldn't find an answer to this question. I apologize if it's been asked before.
I'm trying to put together my writing sample and I noticed the department wants to the professor's comments if the paper was written for a class. I graduated in 2005, and I don't have the original of this paper anymore, but I do have an electronic file. Is it acceptable to submit this paper without professor comments? I was going to note on the cover sheet that the original has been lost. (They can't really expect me to have the original of a paper I wrote nearly 5 years ago?)
