FREAKING OUT JUST A LITTLE BIT
Another issue with Iowa, this time completely on me.
I just re-checked the list of addresses I gave to my registrar, and the requirements for applying to Iowa's Writers' Workshop. They want two transcripts, one sent to the program, and one to the graduate school. I have been keeping up with everything and making sure everything gets in on time and to the correct place, but I fucked up and only listed the program on the list I gave to the registrar, not the graduate school, and my school's offices won't open until the day after the deadline (January 3rd).
I'm really freaking out here, and I am going to contact the graduate school to ask them if it would be okay if I sent them my copy of the transcript (that was opened so that I could scan it for the schools that want it, but I'll probably send it anyway, with a note), but since their offices are probably also closed for the holidays as well, I was hoping for advice from the community. Has anyone had any experience with this particular program, or with schools in general? EVERYTHING else will be in on time to both the program and the graduate school, so if the transcript is a few days late, or isn't in the sealed envelope when I send it to them, will my application be canceled? Please help!
