I received my final 2 LoRs in the mail today for the program that has me deliver them in sealed envelopes with the rest of my application packet. One of the envelopes is mangled and looks like I tried to open it - I definitely didn't! There isn't time for my prof to send me another copy of it. Should I put a post-it note on the envelope that says "I assure you this is the work of the USPS and not my own meddling"?
It's so much easier to worry about this than to address the concerns I have with my writing sample.
ETA: I emailed the grad program coordinator, and she told me to not worry about it, they are very used to getting recommendation letters in various conditions. Phew!
