I know I've been posting a lot, and I really do appreciate all of the responses I've been getting.
As I mentioned before, I'm looking to study international criminal justice systems and/or international/transnational crime. The schools that I'm applying for require a GRE score, a statement of purpose, 3 letters of recomendation, and my official transcripts. Not one of them require a writing sample or a resume.
However, I have several papers that are incredibly related to the field that I'm going into (one of which my professor and I are publishing), and a resume that includes a lot of information I'd like them to have. Would it be presumptuous of me to include these in my application without them explicitly asking for them? All of the schools allow for "additional documents," but I'm afraid this might be going a bit too far; afterall, if they wanted them, it seems to me they would've asked. On the other hand, I'm a pretty strong writer, and some of the experiences on the resume won't be making it to my SOP, but I feel are still pretty important.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated (again). Thanks!
