Potential advisors not responding
First, I understand profs are busy people. Second, I'm mostly asking this because finances are tight and I have to limit the number of schools I apply to.
With that out of the way, my question is: if you e-mail profs you are interested in working with and they don't reply (and you have sent another e-mail referring back to your original e-mail some time later via a different e-mail address)- are you still going to apply to that program?
I think I am going to apply to the schools I really, really want to go to regardless but I'm interested in what your thoughts are.
As for those of you that are in programs now, did you not receive a response from someone you wanted to work with but still got accepted?
