attending lectures

The program I'm most interested in encourages applicants to visit, especially while classes are in session. I've already gotten the approval from the professor to do this, but I was wondering how often I should attend. Obviously I may be overstaying my welcome if I attended every day. But everyone I've talked to about graduate admissions has told me about the importance of visiting and talking with professors. So how often would be best?
