My college grades according to a bell curve, that is you basically compete against your classmates. I was told that in the US, when it comes to grades, the professors grade you simply on the quality of your work, less of how your classmates perform relative to you. So I was just wondering if I were to apply to grad school in the US, how will the admissions committee think of my grades? In any case, I come from a college that is ranked Top 30 on the QS rankings. But that's not the point, it's this bell curve thing I'm worried about that may make my grades appear just average or slightly above. And that's just about it.
