Special thanks to those who replied to my questions about phone interview last week. It went quite well but I am still waiting to hear from them. The professor that interviewed me said that they would let me know in a week. And my interview was last Wednesday. Do you think I should email and ask him about the decision? He was very friendly and

AS far as the first one goes, don't email yet - it's not been a full week yet. Personally, I'd wait until Friday before emailing, as sometimes there can be delays in the paperwork.

Just take a breather!!! lol. I'd give them two weeks, at least. April 15 is a month away! also, I'd fear coming off as pushy.

Also, don't mention about holding off the application until next year - unless it is absolutely necessary. It may look like you aren't THAT serious or committed.

I know you must be anxious (I would be too) but if you'll find out in a week. There could also be something that has come up for this professor or something in his personal life.
