Music at UCSD?
I have looked into various music programmes and have found that some of the best lie in unexpected places. Does anyone have an experience (or multiple experiences) with the graduate programmes at UCSD music? I am of course interested in the combinatory programme which covers various aspects of music: a synthesis. It is called Integrative Studies. It seems interesting as UCSD has attracted me as a location of study but does not have a programme of ethnomusicology as had been previously requested by me.
How competitive is this programme, or perhaps all of the programmes of UCSD music? I am very curious to find this information. Also, how about music programmes (specifically ethnomusicology) from other UC schools? This is important because I have seen the fierce competition whilst applying for these programmes. Please inform me. Thank you!
