Just pulled out my writing sample that I submitted in last month's applications, to see if I needed to polish it more for this month's.
Sure do. Damnit!
The school's I applied to last month were my top choices, and all but one of those now has this incoherent collection of words in their possession. Totally my own fault of course - started and finished the thing the same week as the deadlines.
The introduction is OK, and the conclusion/discussion quite good. But the body, ugh, pure crap.
Anyone else seriously screw up? Not just a typo, but a serious screw up?
