GPA Question

I transferred as an undergrad and attended two universities for two years each. Most applications ask for the GPA from each school separately, but what should I do for applications that want an overall undergraduate GPA? Should I just average the combined GPA from both universities? Or should I just put the GPA from the most recent university I attended?
