been struggling with a blank page for over a month. finally just sat down and attempted to answer their question prompts because i am applying in a week. Any advice?

Hey, I think this looks good! Some of the sentences are a bit long and you probably want to edit out the passive voice, but I think you hit the content right on. Perhaps you could mention your specific focus early (the first paragraph is a bit vague.)

...also, I wonder if the reason this (usually chatty) group isn't responding is because people may be unsure how to reply to an intended painting major? or the holidays? who knows.
