I'm a third year high school social studies teacher and I'm applying to history PhD programs (specifically military history). One of my schools requires a CV and I'd like to have something to send my LOR writers for reference.
In the teaching experience section:
Is it okay to mention a course I will be teaching in the spring? I won't teach it until after the application goes out, but it is related (a course on Vietnam). Could I just put: Vietnam (Spring 2009)?
Also, a colleague and I created the curriculum for an American History course, which was supposed to be put into use but was later abandoned in favor of an online course. Can I still put this on my CV?
Other:
I'm doing the research and writing for a museum exhibit and I was wondering where that would go? Is that research experience? Publications?
