How bad?

I created an email account for myself shortly after changing my major to the one I'm aiming at grad school for. I picked a, perhaps arrogant email account name, and am somewhat concerned it would hurt my first impression with professors if I emailed them from this account.

The name is not obscene or vulgar, but it smacks of youthful pride and enthusiasm. I would post it and ask about it directly, but I fear spammers. Do any of you have thoughts on this?

EDIT: Thanks for advice, I'll prolly make a new one. To satiate curiosity, I'll give the email minus the domain, though I there are only so many domains...but w/e
