I am applying for a scholarship at my top choice school (taught MA program) and the prompt says:
With reference to the scholarship eligibility criteria of academic achievement please include information about yourself to support your application for a scholarship.
They don't list any "eligibility criteria", it's very vague. I am in the humanities and I have a feeling they want to hear about how I have published, presented at conferences, etc...BUT I haven't done anything special like that yet.
How do I fluff up my statement? I am considering using parts from my SOP, which details a research project that I am working on that I hope to publish. Should I just try to talk up what I intend to do? The only other things that I can think are to list my honor roll achievements for my GPA, and also I am going to Tanzania in the summer for study abroad/volunteering/Swahili proficiency, and during that time I plan to check out archives and do interviews for my research project. Are those the sorts of things that I should mention?
Sorry for sounding like I am completely lost...but I am near the end of my application process and I am a bit brain fried (as I imagine most of us are) and I think more than anything I just need reassurance. Thanks!
