Newbie to the site, and my progress
Hi! I just found this site today, and I'm so glad I'm not the only one with these fears/issues/freak outs...
So last week I got a rejection from UC- San Diego, the day after I got invited out for a Prospective Student Weekend at Colorado-Boulder (Ph.D. Sociology programs).
So I think someone said that if they invite you out, it doesn't mean all that much- but what if they're paying for the whole thing? Is that "better?"
I applied to nine schools total, so I'll keep waiting for more news, and trying not to panic.
