Non-Major Research Experience
One of the honors programs at my university includes a four-year long research project, culminating in a book-length thesis, that is done in teams of 10-15 students.
My team's project is about biology and conservation, and there is a very good chance that we will have it published. While I would be extremely confident about listing this on my CV and/or in my SOP if I were a science major, I'm an English Literature major.
Even so, this is such a large undertaking and a unique experience for an undergrad - so should I list it anyway? I'm so torn, partially because it's a team project and partially because it has absolutely nothing to do with my major, especially since I'll be applying to Literature programs.
