diversity statement
I’m applying to Ph.D. programs in Health Services Research. A few of the schools allow you to submit an optional ‘diversity statement.’ I’m not diverse when it comes to race, gender or SES-but I’m wondering if I should even attempt this statement or if skipping it would hurt my chances of being accepted?
