well, I have got my new skullcandy headphones and it's sort of 2am right now but I just need to rant so badly. Seriously, I reached a boiling point just now by procastinating and youtube spamming and oh my gosh, can I just say that sometimes, people in general just piss me off so so much? Just by being politically correct doesnt mean that you are way above someone else and then you could criticise someone else like that and make him or her feel like it's sort of the end of their life when come on, they were obviously just being very silly at that moment and are doing all they could do to amend what they did at the heat of the moment. I mean who doesnt make mistakes? The internet is just simply quite cruel. Random people are allowed to put mean comments on your videos and when you realised that "oh damn, how mindfucked was I to actually upload this kinda stupid shit", you decide to remove your video but only to realise that it's useless for you to do that. Your video has already gone viral in a notorious kinda way and you are just sinking into this dark irreversible fucked up chapter of your life. I am sort of referring to a racist video of an American student who was making a lot of racist comments over some of her schoolmates. I mean come on, she really doesnt look like she put in much thoughts in what she said and we all know she's not that intelligent anyway, and as much as I am sort of the victim of this racist act (ok fine not really), I just think that if you think from her perspective, all she wanted is to have some silence in the library and she wasnt even being mean to any tsunami victims! It's like trying to link up two different pieces of stories together, using one to justify another when they are irrelevant to each other. I am definitely not condoning her behaviour at all, I just feel like she has become a victim of this whole issue too. As if a sincere public apology wasnt enough, her videos are still viral on the internet. It's just kinda sad you know, to be known by others as a racist.

So that was not the only video that made me so angry. The other one was a slutty asian girl making a youtube video named "who do asian girls date" or something like that. Surely if someone actually took the interest to make such a video, it probably reflects the kinda intellect level they are at. Ok fine, perhaps I am just being very defensive at the moment but WHY THE FUCKING HELL CAN PEOPLE NOT UNDERSTAND THAT LOVE IS NOT ABOUT RACE AT ALL? IT'S ABOUT THE FUCKING PERSON YOU WANT TO BETRUST YOUR HEART TO! urgh. To make it worse, you know how youtube always tries to make you not leave their site by putting up related videos on the side bar and you will definitely feel like clicking those links to procastinate further? Well, basically, I clicked on some clips on Tyra Banks' show, these were about Asian wives as trophy wives. I should not have. I mean, yes very tempting but I should have learnt my lesson way ages ago. I can still remember every single time I click on clips from Tyra Banks' show, I will increase my disliking towards her. The only thing I really like about her is probably ANTM but even that is getting shittier now and I guess I am just too old now to be interested in all the bitch fight on the show. Anyway, back to the point, the other time, she was trying to make a porn star look bad when obviously, the girl really looks like she has a strong mind, she knows what she's doing, and she was treating the pornography industry as an actual professional career, sort of like a stepping stone (hopefully) to an acting career without the involvement of R rated stuff. So tyra was basically trying to make her look bad, which turns out to be rather effectively especially with those sound effects (cheering for tyra, funny face making and booing for the guest) from her crowd. Well this time, I feel quite offended. In fact, I am honestly very sensitive in this topic and I know I cannot change the way people think but it gets very annoying especially that late into the night now. Why cannot people (Americans in her show) understand that Asian women, like white women, black women, etc, are all women and nothing can ever be homogenised by race as an entity. If anything can ever be homogenised, it should definitely be age or sex way before race! So what's wrong with 75% of inter-racial relationships to be white man and asian girl combination? What's up with the statistics? What are they trying to prove? Before they quote those figures, have they ever considered the ratio of all the different races in the world? So what if some white guys only date asian girls and vice versa? What the fuck is wrong with that? Isnt love about finding who you think you are suitable with and can spend the rest of your life together with? I am sure even when we often find ourselves falling in love with a specific type of guy, and I dont think that specific type is often defined by the race but rather, the kinda personality and culture of the other party? I dont know why I am so annoyed but just fuck off with all the sterotypes and stop being so narrow-minded! If everyone were to be completely honest about it, who thinks asian guys are more attactive than white guys? The fact is, we have been conditioned ever since we were born to believe in the white being more attractive model: barbie and ken; hollywood movies; cartoons; etc, it is hard to find many counter examples of asian guys dating white girls. I dont want to go down this track of argument because at the end of the day, you dont like a person based on his/her race! It's about the whole package including both physical and inner qualities. I just dont think race should be such a great issue when talking about relationships! Who can ever be rational in relationships and matters of the heart anyway?

I know I might sound very incoherent, and I didnt even blog about the awesome jess visiting me in the uk, but i was just so caught up doing work that i had no time to update this space really! ><

Maybe because when you really love a person really hard, it kinda makes you crazy when you feel like someone else can undermine your love like that.
