miscellaneous little rants
1. Traffic on this street is unbearable. I'm so sick of it. this street.
2. The retarded Safari for iPhone folks need to come up with a way for the end user to determine the viewport dimensions...or something. What happens on some particularly hideous sites is that the default viewport is way too wide, causing you to scroll and zoom at an unreasonable rate to see or do anything, and this seems to happen a bunch particularly with the mobile versions of sites that aren't explicitly optimized for the iPhone. It's probably annoying enough for most people on desktop browsers when text doesn't wrap around and makes you scroll horizontally to read the rest of the sentence/paragraph (e.g. like when there's a particularly large image causing that to happen)...imagine that but worse...scrolling in every direction and zooming in and out because it's completely unreadable as-is because of the miniscule font size. That's what's happening on some sites for the iPhone.

3. Starbucks's blueberry iced tea thing tastes like the way a particular scented variety of Off! insect repellant sprays smells. To top that off, their breakfast sandwiches are disgusting looking and overpriced for what they are. I saw some guy eat one and I was disgusted, but I wanted food, so I went to the restaurant next to starbucks to get an omelette for the same price ($3ish?).
Oh yeah, yesterday was Tristan's birthday. People are getting so old, I swear...
