I'm not criticizing people who dislike abortion in general, it's their choice, and as long as they don't interfere with my right to one and as long as they don't overstep their right to freedom of speech, it's okay.

It's just that abortion is a serious alternative to whatever other situation they are faced with, but I just don't understand if they actually truly believe something so deeply that they are willing to play around with lives to stick to their beliefs and not even give anything else any thought. Countless women and babies and fetuses have died over this argument, which is really depressing because sometimes it's really hard to tell if people even give a crap about the life (or death) of women who die giving birth when they shouldnt've. Or those horror stories about babies found in dumpsters.

It's that I just don't get why they couldn'tve even given it more thought, fully knowing the risks of having sextuplets and that having any less would have been exponentially less riskier for everyone involved. Did they honestly think that the nearnonexistant viability of preemies born at 22 weeks was something they could beat? (okay granted they didn't know when she'd deliver...) But I mean, there was no way in hell they actually thought they could make it to even like, 30 weeks with sextuplets? The odds just get better and better the smaller the number, and...

It's just really depressing :[ There's no guarantee that any or all of the remaining three will survive, either. I guess it may be easier for someone to lose a child ..well...in this manner, instead of having to abort it, but the latter would just have been a hell of a lot better for the remaining babies if death was going to be inevitable :(
