cs book post!
Okay, so somehow noonebutme mentioned an xkcd comic with knuth and the talk went to TAoCP and then to books in general.
So I have this sort of big physical collection of dead tree CS and related texts that I for some reason wanted to buy..or got as a gift..or saw on sale..and didn't want to read on safari/books24x7. out of a few dozen books, there's only a few that stand out like sore thumbs because they're worn out cause I read them too much.
1. Code Complete
2. CLRS
3. Algorithms in Java parts 1-4 by Sedgewick (I suspect I think it might be unnatural wear due to classes :P )
4. GEB (okay, cut some slack, it's close enough)
5. About Face
6. Interaction Design
Very interesting collection of books :P Too bad I can't do anything like it for my ebooks and all the online stuff :(
