Abilities:

Precognition-Only occurs through dreams and is sporadic. She’ll see images of the future, the past and the present, generally when they are all related to each other. She generally only sees images, but will occasionally see scenes unfold. Sometimes she will hear voices, other times not. What she does see is very rarely clear to her and usually does not make sense until well after the fact. In Poly these dreams will continue revolve around her own world. If this would go on to involve any events in Poly or other characters things would still be very hazy and make little sense to her (and she would more than likely not tell anyone else and only make mention of things in private posts), and as always player permission would be obtained first.

Telekinesis-As Talia is untrained she has little to no control over this power. Generally it is dormant, but will come to life during times of high emotion-whether happy, upset, sad or angry (especially angry). The most common things that occur when it makes an appearance are

Flaws/weaknesses:Talia’s biggest flaw is her extreme pessimism. This has come from more from personal experience with people than an inherent personality trait. She has learned to just expect the worst in most situations (that way when the worst doesn’t happen it’s a happy surprise

Personality:In general Talia is shy and soft spoken for two reasons. First, her mother was the same way and she inherited that personality trait. However the larger reason is that the general treatment from her peers has caused her to be slightly distrusting of people and more apt to stay by herself and avoid conversation. When she needs to speak with people she is extremely polite (and normally obviously unsure of herself)-a devise often used to try to mitigate people’s discomfort with her

Physical Description:

Approximately 5’ 6”, 150 pounds, Caucasian, bright red-orange wavy hair down to shoulder blades, green eyes. Her overall body shape seems slightly elongated compared to the average human. Her figure is not particularly curvy but markedly feminine. Her finger and toenails are stronger than normal and may appear thicker than normal human nails. Her canine teeth are slightly pointed, but not so much that people would notice unless they were actually inspecting them.

Sample RP:She didn’t know what to make of the ticking yet. It was disconcerting, but at the same time nowhere near as maddening as the voices when she let them in. I was wondering if anyone out there had any solutions for nightmares? Considering the wide collection of people here I’m sure someone must have some ideas... Any help would be appreciated. Please...

Unfortunately, due to inconsistencies with the character at present, we cannot approve this application. Our main area of concern is that the character appears to be lacking sufficient weaknesses to make up for her superior strengths, which is an extremely important balance to maintain. Feel free to submit a new application during the next application week, and just as free to inquire a mod [messenger contact preferably] as to the reasons behind the rejection.
