Nashedi, Samarkand and Tea ;-)

Nashedi is back from the US and is in Bangalore now. Hasn't changed a bit. Same old Bandar that he was. Just that hez got a few more asserts along with him, apart from his masters degree, like for example, that tire around his waist ;-). Vivek and I were at Samarkand, when, in comes a call saying that Bandar tan tanaa tan is here in Bangalore.

Oh! that reminds me, today I got to know what those five sauces are, that they serve along with starters at Samarkand. They are made of Garlic and Chilli base, Tomato base, Cheeku and Date base, Youghurt base and Mint base. Yes, that makes it five. They taste real good. If you happen to go to that place try out their cheese filled crispies and some giant mushrooom filling starters. They are just too good. We had some Khameeri ki roti (It is a kind of roti made with fermented stuff), Dum Biriyani and the usual Paneer. *belche* and *yawn* *yawn* *yawn* after that.

The fridge was empty. I filled it up with a lot of stuff today evening, should last for a few days atleast. Vegetables, some Tropicana sweet orange and grape juice, cheese, Toblerone and Bounty [I like this one particularly, the coconut filling], milk etc. etc. On my way to the market, after meeting a friend, I had this Assam tea (nostalgia you see) at Cafe Coffee day. Wondering when they started serving Tea there? or didn't I notice it the last time I went there (when was that? *scratching my head*, I don't remember)? I was reading the other day in news papers that someone is gonna start a tea chain here, something called Infini-tea. Maybe these guys are just getting insecure. I think I like tea better than coffee, so they have every reason to.

food, friends
