Moulin Rouge and survey

Brillany and Alex came over yesterday. Brittany and I watched Breakfast at Tiffany's and then Alex came while we were finishing up Moulin Rouge. Then we watched some Doogie Howser and played Candyland and LIFE. xP
Moulin Rouge... Um, it was forgettable. I don't think I'd consider it to be a loss if I never saw it again. The music was horrifically out of place, I didn't feel for any of the characters, the plot was sappy and predictable, and it's wayyyy too easy to make fun of. That, and when ever Ewan gets out of his little range I went O___O "STOPPPPPPP." It was the brick-popping-out-of-mouth affect, I thought. And other than that, it was just plain weird. ...And Satine is a dumb name. ...And her hair really bugged me. ...And why was she sick? And why weren't the people around her sick? And why do all whores have to sing sappy songs about wanting more in their lives? And why does everyone like this movie so much?
I feel like Elaine in that episode of Seinfeld where everyone's in love with this new movie, and she's the only one who doesn't like it. xP
(When I say the music was out of place, I mean it didn't fit that time period, and I'm referring to the pop kind of music they used, like "Lady Marmalade" and "Because We Can.")
RED
