So... that was that, then. Jono gave a look around the room that he'd been staying in for the past two weeks Glacia time, and then another look at the bag he'd thrown together, mostly full of supplies for Joni and a few changes of clothes, before sitting himself down on the edge of his bed, his collar in several pieces beside him. It was always a bit of work to get the thing on and off, and he'd taken to actually just staying in bed longer every day in order to put off going through the process. Still, stubborn as he was, he wasn't going out into the hallway without it. Not after
being grabbed by the Green Warlord Prince that had been waiting for him there nearly two weeks ago.
It wasn't like he was even sleeping during that time, either. Usually he just found himself on the flat of his back, staring up at the ceiling with a cat on his chest. But at least his Healers were happy that he was getting more rest these days.
He'd left messages for Karla and Raven and anyone else still staying at the estate who he had figured might care. A couple of his troops, the very few who were still fit for duty, who were now pestering Julian to let them stay as guards. Clearly the place needed some form of security, and landen or no, who better to do the job than a pair of veterans after the war? Hell, he'd left a note for his pack of Healers, too, saying the same thing as he said to the rest of them. He was heading back to the island. He wasn't going to make laps of the estate to say his farewells, but he'd linger around his room until his portal's arrival in case anybody wanted to talk.
... Granted, it wasn't going to be here for several hours yet, but that gave him time to wrap his head around getting back to his life, really. And to wrestle with getting his collar on around the cat that kept trying to make toys out of its component bits.
Sigh. Back onto the floor with you, Joni. Again.
[OOC: For anyone left in Glacia interested in catching Jon before he heads back to the island. Or phone calls, or whatever!]
