So my grandmother is getting rid of some of her old classical music CDs. Among the latest additions to the collection that now resides at my house are various Bach things, a CD of Prokofiev (there you go, Andrew!), a couple of Mozart, and *GASP!* Aaron Copland's Appalachian Spring! :D Copland is probably my favorite composer of all time, and while Appalachian Spring is around third on my list (falling behind Fanfare for a Common Man and A Lincoln Portrait), it's still wonderful to just sit and listen to the music, especially his rendition of the Quaker hymn Simple Gifts. So gorgeous. :)
Just thought I'd share.
