I know you're teaching a joint course with psychology and therefore you need to touch upon the biology involved in language, but please don't repeat the lecture you gave this week EVER AGAIN. After getting our gas shut off on Thursday (someone fucked up the bill payment) I finally have heating and water again. There are no word to describe how happy I am that I won't have to take another ice-cold shower or drink myself into warmth*. Now, I can go back to recording dramatic readings of a friend's porn.

So, I wake up this morning and I'm feeling a bit off, but much better than yesterday. I take a Tylenol and a shower, and feel fucking fabulous. Sure my nose is still stuffier than the stacks at Robarts and I'm coughing up chunks of phlegm, but I'm not in any pain. The whole shivering like it's twenty below zero need not happen when I am perfectly warm. I mean it body, please stop now.

Also, lying in bed for most of the day while not sleeping is not useful and needs to stop.

I've had 6 hours of sleep in the last two days. I don't think I'll be getting to sleep at a decent time tonight.
I'm twitchy.
I have a bruise on my thigh.
And worst of all, I'm whiny.
