Stormed from Leicester Square to Bond Street to find Holly and Rose and then back to Regent Street to find tea then all the way up to the top of Piccadilly Waterstones to look at the restaurant which was pants then all the way down to the basement of the same so that I could pee then off to Toku which is now on Haymarket because the building it was in just GOT DEMOLISHED because this is a recurrent plague in London these last few years and then, THEN, internet, there was a man passed out on the pavement outside the PCC which we were a little worried about but he talked to some people who came to see what the matter was and it seemed a friend had gone for help and he was okay? Because Londoners are all callous heartless hateful individuals who - oh wait no sorry you're wrong.
AND THEN I WATCHED LEON IN THE CINEMA WITH ROSE AND IT WAS GREAT I LOVE THE PRINCE CHARLES IT IS GREAT.
Also I have a white scarf, and the sashimi in Toku was excellent but I have a large stomach and a small wallet so I ended up filching a lot of Rose's edamame beans and things as well. But I recommend Toku. It is good foods.
The agency were supposed to contact me today to "confirm"; they've given me a bundle of timesheets and so on but no confirmation. Strongly suspect this is actually more to do with agencies being agencies than the sudden rescinding of a placement. If it is the latter then oh well, ho hum, I'll give it a week and start applying again. I am the world's most lax and unmotivated unemployed monkey, possibly because I quite enjoy going to the library and blogging, it's really only the "no money" thing that bothers me.
