While they are preferable to paranoia, delusions of grandeur are also exhausting, alienating, and as hard to keep in check as the paranoia is. Trying to put limits on it is like trying to nail fog to the wall when said fog is ON FIRE AND YELLING AT YOU.

I do, it should be on the old poetry tumblr - derekspoetrydump.tumblr - it's called "Poem For The Person Who Finds This Poem" because I am the KING OF TITLES. The cool thing is that a friend of mine found a copy of said poem at a bus stop, in unfamiliar handwriting, about eighteen months later. So it's still doing the rounds!
