While they are preferable to paranoia, delusions of grandeur are also exhausting, alienating, and as hard to keep in check as the paranoia is. Trying to put limits on it is like trying to nail fog to the wall when said fog is ON FIRE AND YELLING AT YOU.
Tl;DR I am crazy and watching Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and it is every bit as terrible as I fondly remember, have a poem:
