I had the kind of rotten, horrible, no good dreams that made me very glad to be awake. I have no idea why my subconscious thinks ihavecake is even capable of behaving like that (she teamed up with a girl I used to live with and they sat in a theatre I was working in discussing me, and when I went out to ask them to move because we were preparing for a show, the girl I used to live with said, "Oh, looks like you've lost another friend, haven't you?" -- some time later when I took a four-storey plunge down the middle of a building & broke all of my limbs Rose observed that I'd "probably done it for the attention") ... just goes to show you can'd rely on your subconscious to write your friends remotely in-character but still somewhat unnerving. Went back to sleep and had a less traumatic dream involving the Crusades, ghosts, Harry Potter tricking someone into putting each of his body parts into one of the four elements so that he could create a circuit loop and discharge their power (hi, dream logic), Tom Hardy as an evil Sorcerer, me being very excited to be in Algeria for some reason that I've forgotten, more kittens, and being locked in a concrete wardrobe which surprisingly didn't bother me at all.

All the Lights in Light City (tu).doc = The Used fic I started writing with Shay, which I'm not going to finish and which I am instead going to strip-mine for ideas and turn into an original fic when I've sorted it all out and Done A Bit Of Research.
ALTERNATIVE.doc = No idea what this is and don't want to look. It hasn't been touched for 2 years.
apiphileright.doc = I think this is probably Inception fic that I wrote at crotalus_atrox, judging by the file name.
AU NIX.doc = Does what it says on the tin.
Blue-Hal.doc = hideous gary-stu Willard Price fanfic which has been sitting on my hard drive for about three computers now.
Cameron Davis.txt = another hideous gary-stu from years and years ago, this time in the Hardy Boys Casefiles fandom
Dolittle.doc = More hideous gary-stu-ing, Dr Dolittle (Hugh Lofting) fandom.

Anything with "Fuck and Kill" or F&D in the name isn't getting finished, Anna Ketch never really got started, Bandfic isn't being finished, Don't Blush When I Rip You Open was ten fucking years ago, Four Bitter Stories has become part of the magicians story, anything where the file ending is in capitals is so old that I'm probably never even going to look at it again, several of these are actually finished and being edited for publication, several of these only have one or two lines in them and could be deleted or whatever, and this file is just generally very badly organised. Most of the ones which are actually getting worked on are in NaNo folders instead:
