Updating stuff and whatnot
*Stephen is 10 weeks old tomorrow. And he's freaking huge. Like, seriously. We went for his first shots last Wednesday (that was fun *eyetwitch*) - there was another baby there, also 9 weeks old and he looked tiny in comparison to my kid. What a long, strange trip it's been: thirteen years since we first met, five years together, one year living 2 hours apart, three years living together, two years engaged - all culminating into one day that marks the beginning of the rest of our lives.

This weekend is my Stagette, which will apparently involve bathing suits and copious amounts of drinking. I'm not sure if it will rival Jayson's rolling in at 5am from his last weekend, but at the very least, I will be wearing a tiara. -
Mini-update
- We're 99% sure on a reception venue - we're (most likely) going with the Walper Terrace, which is super cool as the Walper Pub is where I had my 19th birthday :D We've also chosen a photographer, so most of the major stuff is now done. Sweet!

The venue is (almost) booked!
With the house, wedding plans are being scaled back. As we'd still like an outdoor wedding, I've looked into a place at Bingemans called 'The Pavillion'. The cost is super reasonable, and since the wedding is still 17 months(!) away, the date is available :D Therefore, it will (most likely) be locked in for us by the end of the week - yay ( Read more... ) -

Work's been crazy - we're on 6 hour shifts until we hire someone to replace Laura. Tomorrow ends week 2, and that's one week too much :( I'm really hoping it's done before the beginning of August *crosses fingers* I'm already missing out on a week of ( Read more... )
