The Minutia of Popular Writing

Sep 22, 2007 08:02

So why don't I write in this thing anymore? It's obvious to everyone that I've been commenting my ass off (or relentlessly disproving faulty theory--you pick).

As some of you may remember, I had a dilemma with blogging in multiple forums. What to write where, how meticulous I needed to be with writing etiquette, spelling, etc. Which is why I simplified the whole thing by permanently retiring from at least one blog, further facilitating the template-ready generation of future bloggers. No one really constructs their own websites from scratch anymore anyway.

So primarily, I write here, maintaining the same name. That is why I hang out there as opposed to facebook...although I have figured out that users there love to throw food and animals at each other; as well as post endless amounts of photos.

So while I have not totally abandoned LJ, I'll only occasionally (albeit rarely) post here when the mood hits me or when I feel like making a particular post so private, only a handful of people can read it.

One thing still amazes me, however. No matter what I do, my comments here will always supersede the ones I receive here. And I don't even have that many friends.
