I've never actually dialed 911 before until today. That was only because all the so-called 24 hour locksmiths and fire departments wouldn't answer their phones...as my truck remained running with the keys locked inside at 5 something in the morning just burning away unleaded fuel in my parking lot. Needless to say, it was the quickest way to get referred to a fire department that would respond to my call.
Although they eventually got it open, they didn't exactly seem like that did this sort of thing on too many different types of vehicles. They asked if I had electric locks--which I told them I did. But it didn't matter, because I've seen this procedure done before when the dumbasses at Vintage car wash would consistently lock my keys in the truck right after I told them I had an alarm that locks if you stop and start the vehicle with the door open. (it's a flawed system)
So the fire department spends about half an hour unlocking my vehicle. Yet the people at Vintage car wash can unlock my vehicle within 15 minutes. Which says all sorts of things about the stereo thefts that occur in El Paso.
