Okay, I've lived in the United States for years [in fact, I haven't actually visited a foreign country yet], and if there's one thing I know, it's that ever since forever, not *all* Americans are stereotypically like that. In fact, about half of America resembles Hetalia's America-tan. The other half consists of Californians, New Yorkers, Washingtonians, and the list goes on. In terms of stereotypes, they're really different. Just as annoying, but really different. The contrast is definitely more acute than, like, North and South Italy.
So! The prompt is the nations discovering America's brother (or sister) East-coast-tan (or Northern USA-tan, blue-states-tan, whatever. Not picky as long as you pick one) who goes around brandishing cell phones and iPods, spouting political data, dropping R's, and so on. England is shocked that he missed raising this one... or maybe he's just the only one who knew about it and thought everyone else knew
