Location: Control Room
Summary: Carter has some technical question for ISES
Warnings: None
Sam heads into the control room to ask ISES some questions. She's planning on starting work on adapting her battery charger to the station's power systems. Since it looks like they're going to be here for a while she wants her laptop to stay up and running, so she can work on her physics book in this downtime and do any simulations that they might need to do. While she figured she could test the power system herself, most of the scientific equipment she had with her was intended to analyze and convert alien power systems, asking ISES first would probably make things easier. She also had some other questions for the computer that she'd been meaning to ask.
"Hello Ises," tapping the icon on the screen.
"What are the properties of the station's electrical system; frequency, voltage, AC or DC current, and the direct output of the batteries?"
"Are there spare battery cells in storage?"
"What is the expected lifespan of each cell?"
Then concerning her other topic of interest, the carbon nanotubes.
"what is the average exterior temperature of the Icelus Morpheus system, and what is the average surface temperature on the sunward side?"
"What are the structural composition and properties of the carbon nanotube's connecting the Icelus Morpheus system?"
"Does the colony have the ability to manufacture additional carbon nanotube's?"
"In the event that the tether is damaged by an impact, what repair tools does the colony have?"
